Lito Lapid nakapasok sa Top 12 senator dahil sa powers ni Coco Martin?

MARAMING nagsasabi na napakaswerte pa rin ng veteran action star na si Lito Lapid dahil nakapasok siya sa Top 12 senator para sa 2025 midterm elections.
Ipinroklama na ng Commission on Elections (Comelec) ang 12 kandidato na nanalo sa senatorial race kung saan nanguna nga si Bong Go at sinundan nina Bam Aquino at Bato dela Rosa. Nasa ika-11 pwesto naman si Sen. Lito Lapid.
Ayon sa mga netizens, mukhang sinuwerte pa rin si Lito Lapid dahil sa mga tumakbong taga-showbiz ay sila lamang ni Tito Sotto ang pumasok sa Top 12.
May mga nagkomento naman na si Coco Martin daw ang nagdala sa beteranong action star dahil nga ang “Batang Quiapo” lead star ang nangampanya at nag-endorso sa kanyang kandidatura.
Matagal na nagkasama sina Coco at Lito sa “FPJ’s Ang Probinsyano” at “Batang Quiapo” kaya naman hindi maitatanggi ang pagiging super close nila ngayon sa isa’t isa.
Marami naman ang nagtatanong kung anu-ano nga ba ang mga nagawa ni Lito Lapid sa Senado at bakit lagi siyang binoboto ng mga tao?
Sa mga hindi pa masyadong aware, ilang dekada na ring naglilingkod sa bayan ang veteran actor. Taong 1992 nang maging vice governor siya ng Pampanga at nanalong governor noong 1995.
Una siyang naging senador noong 2004 at nare-elect taong 2010. Pagkatapos nito, tumakbo siya bilang alkalde ng Angeles City, Pampanga noong 2016 pero natalo siya ni Mayor Edgardo Pamintuan.

Tumakbo uli siyang senador noong 2019 at nanalo uli. At ngayong 2025 ay magtutuluy-tuloy pa rin ang kanyang pagiging senador.
May mga netizens ang nag-research tungkol sa pagiging public servant ng aktor dahil na-curious sila kung bakit patuloy na ibinoboto ng mga Pinoy si Lito Lapid.
Isa na nga riyan ang writer at digital creator na si Rhadson Mendoza. Sa kanyang Facebook page mababasa ang ginawa niyang pagre-research about the actor-senator.

Inisa-isa pa niya ang mga nagawang batas ng aktor, kabilang na ang Free Legal Assistance Act of 2010 (Republic Act No. 9999), Biometrics Law (Republic Act No. 10367), National Legal Knowledge and Assistance System Act, at iba pa.
