“MTRCB should be authorized to regulate video content on streaming platforms to maintain the standards of decency and morality expected by Filipinos,” ang bahagi ng inilabas na pahayag ng Senado.

Ipinunto ng senador, “For paid on-demand streaming services, MTRCB shall require the streaming service to submit a list and classification of all movies, series, and programs offered and order a reclassification after screening, only as necessary.”

Sabi pa ng kampo ng senador at aktor, inaprubahan ng mga mambabatas ang MTRCB Act, “to address issues of obscenity, immorality, and senseless violence in the digital platforms.”

Bukod dito, nakasaad din sa nasabing panukalang-batas na ang chairperson at vice-chairperson ng MTRCB ay mabibigyan ng “rank, salary, rights, privileges, and benefits equivalent to a department undersecretary and department assistant secretary.”
