Valerie Tan ‘di apektado sa ibang lifestyle vloggers: ‘The more, the merrier’

ANG Best Lifestyle Show host for “I Heart PH” sa nakaraang 38th Star Awards for TV na si Valerie Tan ay hindi apektado sa mga isyu na maraming karibal ang programa niya lalo’t maraming travel and lifestyle vloggers ngayon na gumagawa ng kaparehong content.

Sa ginanap na mediacon para sa Season 10 ng “I Heart PH” ay walang nakikitang kompetisyon ang host sa kaparehong content dahil the more, the merrier ang dating sa kanya.

Say ni Valerie, “I feel that it democratizes (travel vlog) and I feel like it encourages more people to travel, which is everyone’s objective naman. I actually welcome them.”

Pero hindi naman inaalis ng host na challenging sa parte niya bilang I Heart PH host dahil nga dapat may naiiba pa ring mapapanood sa travel show nila na mapapanood simula sa Linggo, Hunyo 8 sa ganap na 10:30AM sa GTV produced ng TV8 Media Productions.

Nagpapasalamat at pinuri ni Valerie ang I Heart PH Team dahil, “we have a lot of research. We take time and making sure na this is a place that we wanna feature at saka we really go to the nitty gritty.”

Nabanggit din niya na ang kanilang mahabang ang format nagbibigay-daan para sa mas mapalalim kaysa sa maiksing format.

Aminadong pressured din kay Valerie ang pagkapanalo niya bilang best lifestyle show host in a healthy way.

“Actually may konting pressure pero it’s a good kind of pressure, it’s a healthy pressure like you wanna do better, you wanna prove to everyone that we deserve this award, then sana magkaroon pa kami ng future awards pa,” saad nito.

Sa pagpasok ngayon ng season 10 ng I Heart PH ay sinabi ni Valerie na mas bukas siya ngayon sa feedbacks kumpara rati.

“Before kasi when I was younger, parang medyo masakit pa sa ego. Pero ngayong matagal na tayo sa industry, parang na-realize mo, these feedbacks and the constructive criticisms are actually for you to help you be better at para umangat ka sa career mo,” kuwento ng TV host.

At sa season 10 ng I Heart PH ay may tatlong episodes na kinunan sa Hongkong sa pakikipagtulungan ng Hong Kong Tourism Board with Regional Director Liew Chian Jia.

Sa naganap na mediacon sa Novotel Araneta City ay may mga ipinakitang teaser ng adventure ni Valerie sa Hongkong kung saan inilibot niya ang mga mata ng media sa iba’t ibang tourist destinations.

Tulad ng first time niyang makakita ng Giant Panda, “I guess, one of the most unforgettable experiences is my encounter with the Giant Panda twin cubs at the Ocean Park Hong Kong. Sana ma-celebrate ko ang first birthday nila this coming August. Tiyak na iyon ang isa sa pinakaaabangang masasayang kaganapan ng parke ngayong taon.”

Ang isa sa hightlight ay ang pag-akyat nito sa 14-meter tower sa annual Bun Scrambling Competition on Cheung Chau Island.

Ginagawa tuwing buwan ng Mayo ang Cheung Chau Bun Festival features the traditional Piu Sik parade with children dressed as deities or cultural figures and the bun tower race to collect symbolic “Ping An” (peace) buns.

Kasama rin sa episode ang selebrasyon ng ika-20 Anibersaryo ng Hong Kong Disneyland: The Most Magical Party of All.
