HINDI nagpatalbog si Presidential Communications Office (PCO) Undersecretary Claire Castro kay Kabataan Party-list Rep. Raoul Manuel.

Ito’y may kaugnayan pa rin sa isasagawang impeachment trial laban kay Vice President Sara Duterte.

Pinatamaan kasi ni Manuel si Pangulong Bongbong Marcos na may kinalaman umano sa pagka-delay sa Senado ng pagbasa sa articles of impeachment kay VP Sara.

Sinagot naman agad-agad ni Castro ang patutsada ni Manuel sa naganap na press briefing sa Malacañang kahapon, June 4.

Sabi ng PCO undersecretary, nirerespeto nila ang naging pahayag ng Kabataan party-list, pero sana raw ay respetuhin din nila ang presidente

“We give respect Representative [Raoul] Manuel. And we hope that he will also give respect to the President. By not making and creating such kind of intrigues.

“Intriga po ito, alam naman natin kung sino ang marunong at eksperto sa paggawa ng intriga at magplanta ng ebidensya, so huwag na po sana niyang gayahin ito,” sabi ni Castro.

Ginamit pa ni Castro sa kanyang pahayag ang pamosong dialogue ng namayapang aktres na si Cherie Gil sa blockbuster at iconic movie nila ni Megastar Sharon Cuneta na “Bituing Walang Ningning.”

“Kumbaga sa pelikula, kokopyahin ko lang pero babaguhin ko ng kaunti, ‘Do not be like second rate, trying hard, copycat!” hirit ni Castro.

Habang isinusulat ang artikulong ito ay  wala pang reaksiyon si Rep. Manuel hinggil sa naging resbak sa kanya ni Castro.
